RoboCop and life update

This is my first post in a while, and I thought I'd start strong in 2026, hopefully establishing a routine with updates on how my restorations are progressing.
Since my last post, life has gotten a bit crazy. I am back at work part-time, have my almost-one-year-old and six-year-old, who both have endless energy, and have just had to move house, so in the interim, Glitter Trench activity had to be put on hold. I have been designing a lot of earrings during the times I happened to be free, but the ever-growing pile of planned restorations and custom alterations just seemed like too much effort. I had a couple of free days over the holiday period, so I decided to get started on some fairly simple ones.
This first one, my 1993 RoboCop action figure, was an easy fix. He needed new batteries and a good clean. The battery compartment wasn't even that dirty, which surprised me, but I still gave it a gentle clean with white vinegar and cotton buds. I opened him up completely to check there was nothing that needed replacing, and for educational purposes. I've taken progress shots and videos throughout the whole process. All I have left to do is replace the screws. As you can see in the photos, they are rusted beyond belief, though I haven't been able to find any small enough. Still looking, however, so if anyone knows where I can get some, preferably in a physical store (I am based in Australia), let me know in the comments.
The final video shows him as clean as I could get him, and that the batteries are working. He has a fair amount of wear as he is very old and has been played with a lot. I don't think I will attempt to repaint him at this point, mainly because I won't be parting with him, but I also feel it would do more harm than good.

This one was more in need of maintenance than restoration, but I'm happy with all the little steps I am taking on this journey. Let me know what you think in the comments, what else you would do (or do differently). Any advice or friendly discussion will be welcomed and appreciated :) And if you've enjoyed reading along, please feel free to share this post on your social media <3
